Feasibility
Determine clients requirements and budget, discuss feasibility of project. An inital hour’s consultation is free of charge.
Survey
Carry out a detailed measured survey of the property in order to prepare existing plans and elevations and gain an understanding of the building and its services.
Concept Design
Discuss clients ideas and requirements and prepare concept design for approval.
Planning Permission
Prepare planning drawings and additional documentation, submitting planning application in order to obtain planning permission.
Building Regulations
Preparing detailed drawings to demonstrate compliance with current building regulations. This may include plans, elevations, sections and details, window and door schedules as well as kitchen and bathroom layouts.
Tender
Provide specifications of works, schedules and pre-construction health and safety plan. Obtain tenders from selected builders and compare prices.
Contracts
Prepare contracts with chosen contractator and pre-contract meeting with the parties before works commence.
Project Management
I am not curently providing this service although I can reccommend a local consultant who offers this service.
I can, however provide design advice during the build if required.
Models
Models can be produced if required. These are sometimes a very useful tool for difficult planning applications or for projects requiring fundraising.
